About Me

I'm Prabesh Dhakal, and I help infrastructure and operations teams cut through the noise.

My background is in operations—real operations, where alerts fire at 2 AM and backlogs grow faster than you can clear them. I've lived the chaos of unclear ownership, inconsistent metrics, and tools that create more work than they save.

That experience shaped my approach: practical over theoretical, outcomes over process theater, clarity over complexity. I don't believe in frameworks that look good in presentations but fall apart in practice. I believe in systems that work when you're understaffed, overwhelmed, and under pressure.

Today, I work with infrastructure, platform, SRE, and operations leaders who are tired of the noise. They want dashboards that tell the truth, workflows that don't fight them, and AI that actually helps instead of adding another layer of complexity.

I bring an operator's perspective to every engagement. I ask the questions your team is thinking but might not voice. I focus on what will actually move the needle, not what sounds impressive in a status update.

My Approach

Operator-led

I've been on call. I've triaged incidents. I've inherited messy backlogs. My recommendations come from understanding what it's like to be on the receiving end.

Metrics-first

Gut feelings don't scale. I help teams establish metrics that matter, dashboards that tell the truth, and reporting that drives decisions instead of just filling slide decks.

Outcome-driven

I measure success by what changes, not by deliverables produced. Every engagement is focused on measurable improvement—reduced triage time, clearer ownership, better visibility.

Low-bureaucracy

Operations teams are already drowning in process. I don't add to the pile. My goal is to remove friction, not create new approval chains.
